My Korean Kimbap...
>> Saturday, October 29, 2011
I first had my taste of Korean Kimbap when I was still in Baguio City, Philippines working as an English tutor for Koreans. I was very lucky that my employers liked me and often invite me to dine with them. That's how I learned to love Korean foods. Kimbap is just one of the many Korean foods that I came to love. I have been craving for this for quite a while but I never had the chance to find and visit a Korean restaurant here in Alabama. Fortunately, when we went to Panama City, Florida, I convinced hubby to try out a Korean resto that with good reviews online. We searched for the place and I helped hubby order his food. Surprisingly, he liked Kimbap too.
So when we came home in Alabama, I told him I will make kimbap. I haven't made any before but I have watched my former employer make it before and it's pretty simple. So when we went to the Asian store, I picked up all the ingredients I need and made some the next day. Hubby loved my homemade kimbap! Ah, they're so easy to make and I know I will make some more next time since we both loved them.
